Remembering Larry King

His support for the arts and artists was not only legendary, it was also a measure of achievement and excellence that we all aspired to, and it inspired our passion to express ourselves without fear, with courage and confidence.  He cared about people, and we cared about him.
If you were fortunate enough to be selected to go on his show, you could, in that moment, feel as though you’d crossed the Rubicon.  Over the years, I was fortunate enough to experience that feeling a couple of times.
Larry was a true gentleman, and his tireless appreciation for truth and glamour sustained an entire generation of both celebrities and politcal leaders.
He shall be sorely missed, but his memory will forever be present in our hearts.
My deepest sympathies to his family, his friends, and the multitude of fans he leaves behind.  Larry was a true champion for the ages, and we were blessed by his presence among us.
Thank you, Larry, for your compassion, your generosity, and for making us all smile at your red suspenders.

Remembering Tanya Roberts

Dearest Tanya…my first Velda when I was Mike Hammer.
A gorgeous, sexy, lady with a wicked sense of humor. Because she was also a delicious Bond girl, she loved to tease me as to who was the better shot:
“You think you’re better than Sean Connery?” she would scoff.
“No, of course not!” I replied.
“Good, because you’re not!” she laughed, then she turned and carried her beautiful body back to her dressing room.
Thank you, Tanya, for bringing a sweet touch of humor and glamour into our lives.
Our deepest sympathies to your family.
We miss you.
